are the guests that made an appearance for the Maryland Film Festival
2000.
Liev
Schreiber, (Spring Forward),
actor, will host the closing night screening of Spring Forward, April
30, 7 PM at the Charles.
Stacy
Valentine, (The Girl Next Door),
adult film star, bears all in The Girl Next Door, which will screen twice
at the Charles. Saturday, April 29 at midnight, and Sunday, April 30 at
12:30 PM.
Kathrine Narducci
(King Gimp and Bronx
Tale), Sopranos star, appears for opening night, April 27 at 7 PM
at the Senator Theatre, and again in A Bronx Tale at the Charles on Friday,
April 28 at 5:15 PM. Kathrine will also participate in the Maryland Film
Festival's online chats.
Jad
Fair (Scott and Gary Show) of
1/2 Japanese will perform after the screening of The Scott and Gary Show
at 11:30 PM on Saturday, April 29 at the Charles.
Jill
Hennessy (Acting Class), actress,
returns to the festival with the World Premiere of her new film, The Acting
Class.
Jonathan
Richman (Cyrano de Bergerac and
A Sign From God), musician, will share
his thoughts on Cyrano de Bergerac. He also provided the soundtrack to
A Sign from God. Finally, Jonathan will be performing live at the Closing
Night Party, Sunday, April 30 at the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
Michelle
Banks (Compensation), who
is deaf, will co-host the screening of Compensation with co-star John
Jelks. The film is subtitled for the hearing inpaired--and the Q&A will
be accompanied by ASL interpreters.
Scott
Erickson (Predator), pitcher,
will host the screening of his favorite film, the Arnold Schwartzenegger
film, Predator.
Dan
Keplinger (King Gimp), artist,
will co-host the screening of King Gimp along with Susan Hadary and Bill
Whiteford
John
Waters (Clean Shaven), director,
discusses what it is like to be Clean, Shaven.
Callie
Thorne (Double Parked), star
of Homicide, returns to Baltimore to host the screening of Double Parked.
The
Kuchar Brothers (Brothers Kuchar),
directors, will share a retrospective of their cutting-edge work--ranging
from the '60s to the present.
Joyce
Scott (Long Hot Summer), artist,
discusses A Long, Hot Summer.
Joe
Berlinger (Paradise Lost 2),
director of Blair Witch 2, hosts the follow-up to his real crime documentary
Paradise Lost 2.
David
Drake (Night Larry Kramer), performer,
returns home to premiere the film adaptation of his one-man show, The
Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me
Richard
Elfman (Forbidden Zone), director,
enters the Forbidden Zone

Nixon (My Fair Lady), singer,
