Tracing a trail from Maryland's Eastern Shore to Nashville to New Orleans, Riders explores the emotional journey as well as the geographic travels of Alex Stone, a teenager coming to grips with her family situation. She is forced to face her own challenges, while protecting the innocence of her young sister, and the desperate hope of her single mother.

Bodine Alexander gives a wonderful performance as Alex, a seemingly frail young woman, who finds the courage to take matters into her own hands. Also of note is the performance of Don Harvey, as the predator who Alex must eventually confront.

Director Doug Sadler's feature debut, which was shot on digital video by award winning cinematographer Rodney Taylor, was a standout at the recent Los Angeles Film Festival.
