Whale
Rider (Baltimore Premiere of the award-winning film with
stars Keisha Castle-Hughes , Rawiri Paratene , and Cliff Curtis
in attendance. The three stars treated the audience to an impromptu
vocal performance over the end credits before their Q&A
session with the audience.)

- Freestyle:
The Art of Rhyme (Featuring director Kevin Fitzgerald and
performance by Soul Rebels and open mike freestyle rap)
- Artscape Shorts in a Tent : Two
days of programming of short films from the Maryland Film Festival
with the majority of filmmakers on hand. Many great films including
The Vest
and Kinetic Sandwich
, which Artscape audiences got to see six months prior to their
showing at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, played
in our air-conditioned tent.

Diner
Guys (Rare screening of Barry Levinson's documentary on
his friends who inspired his breakthrough film, Diner. Many
of the "diner guys" were on hand for the screening,
which was part of the Jewish
Museum of Maryland's Entertaining America exhibit.
