Andrew is a lonely, neurotic man, walking the streets, chanting, "I am a god.  I create this reality."  Much of Andrew's unhappiness comes from the fact that reality does not back up his belief.  He is an anti-hero with an unconscious hobby of landing himself in painfully awkward, uncomfortable, and just plain embarrassing situations while wreaking havoc on the lives of those around him.  His desperation causes women to reject him.  His ex-wife constantly finds him in the home she kicked him out of.  His stab at becoming a porn star ends in quick humiliation.  Stealing a friend's date leaves the friend better off.  Things change when Andrew discovers that being a god means more than just saying he is one.  Since he already creates his own reality, why not create a better one - a reality that involves him being a successful ladies man?

Male Fantasy is a funny, edgy, sad, and at times brutal glimpse into the mind of a character at the lowest point in his life.  He is surrounded by a colorful cast of bohemian characters, each struggling with their own realities.  Much of the humor comes from identifying with the characters onscreen and the bad decisions they make.  As director Blaine Thurier puts it, "Male Fantasy is a tale of loneliness and desire, the story of a man who represents the rock bottom in all of us and what we have to do to get out of it."
