Peter and Jan (Daniel Brühl from Good Bye, Lenin!) are two young men united by their passion to change the world. In their secret life, they are the notorious "Edukators," mysterious revolutionaries who break into the expensive homes of the upper-class, rearranging possessions for no apparent reason and then leaving notes that read, "Your days of plenty are numbered," signed, "The Edukators." Their political rebellion does not involve robbery, but instead is aimed at making wealthy people nervous. While Peter is away on vacation, Jan lets Peter's girlfriend, Jule, in on the secret identity of the Edukators, and she becomes eager to take part in the action. For her first victim, she chooses the wealthy businessman to whom she is burdened with a lifetime of payments due to a past auto accident. When feelings start to develop between Jan and Jule, they get careless and find themselves in trouble, with no choice but to drag Peter in with them. Raging passions, shattered loyalties and an end to their unique activism aren't the only things threatening the three young revolutionaries. Their social and political philosophies take a hit when they find out their victim, the wealthy conservative businessman, was once a radical like them and despite how much they resist it, they could end up following a similar path.
